Please keep in mind that beach life sometimes brings shifting weather, town celebrations, or nearby construction. You may also encounter local wildlife such as seagulls, raccoons, foxes, or the occasional bug. Our homes are treated regularly, but a touch of the outdoors is part of Ocean View's natural charm. If something feels off — whether it's an appliance not working correctly or an unexpected maintenance issue — please let us know right away. A quick photo helps, and our team typically responds promptly to resolve anything with as little disruption as possible. While these types of issues don't qualify for refunds, we'll always do our best to make your stay smooth. After booking you will be asked to complete a check-in form. This form includes providing your name, birthday, photo ID, and signing a rental lease agreement. All information is stored internally and not sold to any third party as this is how we verify age and legally protect our homes. All rentals include our full linen and towel package. Every bed will be made before you arrive, and each guest receives one bath towel along with fresh sheets and pillowcases. Please respect the home as if it were your own. An additional $500 excessive cleaning fee may apply if the property is left in unacceptable condition, such as requiring cleanup of vomit or urine. The Town of Ocean View has adopted a noise ordinance that makes it unlawful to make, continue, or permit any loud, unnecessary, or unusual noise in violation of Chapter 152 of the Town Code. Noise from radios, televisions, musical instruments, sound systems, or other devices that is plainly audible at a distance of twenty-five (25) feet or more from the source shall be deemed a violation of this ordinance. It shall be a violation of this Agreement and grounds for eviction under Delaware law if such noise disturbances occur as a result of activity on this property. The Town of Ocean View and the State of Delaware have other laws and ordinances regulating noise and disturbances, which may constitute separate offenses if violated. Personal Property & Items Left Behind Guests are responsible for removing all personal belongings prior to departure. Please check all closets, drawers, bathrooms, outdoor areas, and under beds before you leave. Ocean City Vacation Homes, its owners, employees, and agents assume no responsibility or liability for personal property left in the unit or on the premises after checkout, or for any loss, theft, or damage to such property. We do not guarantee that left-behind items will be found, retained, or returned. If an item is located, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you at the contact information on file. Perishable items, opened food, beverages, and toiletries are discarded immediately. Return shipping is available at the guest's expense and is subject to a handling fee in addition to actual shipping costs. Items are shipped at the guest's sole risk, and we are not responsible for loss or damage in transit. Arrangements for local pickup must be scheduled in advance during business hours. While the home itself is nice with plenty of space for 7 people, spacious bathrooms, and a working kitchen, I wouldn't say it had a fully equipped kitchen. It's nice if you are eating out or carrying out, but if you plan on cooking, you'll need to bring several items (e.g., sharp knives, shears/scissors, large pots/pans, foil).
- 2026-08-02T14:02:59Z · 5/5: Very clean inside and easy to find! Plenty of room for the 5 of us! Showers are AMAZING and strangely enough was all of our favorite part of it. The listing has since been updated to reflect that only the side porch is available with this unit. We discovered we did not have access to the back porch which overlooks the backyard. The side porch is big enough to fit one chair if you wanted to but doesn’t offer a clear view of the backyard if any children wanted to play. The listing also stated that it provided a starter kit of dishwasher tabs, dish soap, and a sponge which was not in our unit. Not a big deal but we were not prepared. I think some more decor would help out the echoing, you can hear EVERYTHING no matter where you are inside. There is also only one TV in the unit, not a big deal to us as we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. Couch only seats 3 people so maybe some more or larger furniture if the unit is big enough for 6 people. Still a great place, clean, and close to a lot!
